The Salta MagRunner 220 is a US-patented deep-diving lure designed by Georgios Toris and the SALTA team, built to reach depths of up to 115ft while maintaining stability at trolling speeds from 2–10 knots. Modelled on the body of a Bullet Tuna, it delivers consistent, predictable dives with minimal resistance. Featuring the 2nd-gen HookMag system with 4 replaceable magnets, the belly hook stays in the stinger position for better hook-ups. Built from aircraft-grade polycarbonate, it’s twice as strong as ABS—ideal for taking on the toughest pelagics like Bluefin, Yellowfin, and Wahoo. With two tow points for shallow or ultra-deep trolling and compatibility with heavy leaders and mini daisy chains, the MagRunner 220 is engineered for extreme versatility and performance.

The US patented MagDiver is an All-speed Diving Planning Head Lure, designed by Georgios
Toris. These innovative lures feature a unique flat and streamlined planning head design,
with, running speeds of 1-20 knots. There's no drama when trolling these lures at speed,
they track right where you put 'em. Very stable in their trolling position with a nice tight
action, they're predictable and productive. The NEW lure features the 2nd generation of the
US patented HookMag instant Stinger hook magnetizer, with 8 replaceable magnets.
Georgios Toris was the original designer of the MagBay MagTrak lure which has proven itself
to be VERY effective for Blue fin tuna and wahoo. Georgios licensed MagBay to distribute
his MagTrak lure in the USA market, under an exclusive arrangement. He did not end his
improvement efforts, rather he improved upon it’s design both in shape to further improve
tracking ability and long term serviceability. The new lures will track even better than the
original AND the magnetic system is now replaceable. Both of these are significant
enhancements to the initial design. Georgios elected to market these directly thru his own
firm, SALTA Lures. We’re pleased to be their first New Zealand distributor, importing the
lures directly from the factory.
MagDiver All-Speed Lure specifically target Tuna and Wahoo. The HookMag magnetically
retains the belly hook in the Stinger position at all speeds until a fish strikes, then, the hook
is released.
