Screaming Reels At The Back Of Ponui Island.
Wednesday 3rd September.
Another stunning day on the briny with plenty of Snapper on the chew.
Up at Sparrows fart & blasted out to the back of Ponui on flat seas.
With the light just breaking the Coro hills I was looking forward to a great days fishing.

2 Days Of Angry Snapper Pulling String At The Back Of Ponui Island.
Day 1. Monday 25th August
Just a stunning day – Sun shining & glassy seas – felt like Summer.
Launched around 8ish on flat seas & headed out to the back of Ponui.
Have been catching some nice Snapper around this area of late & Monday was no different.
No Birds or Dolphins present but plenty of Bait, Bait for Africa & lots of angry string pulling Snapper.

Monday 18th August.
Well after catching up with Mr Senior a couple of weeks back & restocking the tackle box with goodies & Paul kindly offering Me one of His new Ocean Angler Microwave rods to try it would have been rude with such good weather not to go out & give it whirl.
So today was the day, with 5knots variable all day it was going to be a cracker.
